John 14:27 plainly tells us that Jesus has provided us peace, but we must appropriate it, and not allow our hearts to be troubled or afraid. We cannot just passively wait to feel peaceful. We are to pursue God’s peace and refuse to live without it. Jesus also commands us in John 14:1: You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
This is a command folks, if we heed this command we will feel God’s peace fully.
Jesus wants to wrap your heart in a protective layer…Don’t let the outside stuff cross the line into your heart.He does not want you to take the stuff of the world inside you, he wants you to say, “No! I will not take that in…”
