We know that if we want to see God move we need to ‘make a move’.

I have just read this powerful sentence from Mark Batterson’s book Draw the Circle.

‘We’ll never see God part the Jordan River if our feet are firmly planted on dry land. But if we step into the river, God will part it’. Will you say amen to that!

What does a chappy do when she looks in the breakfast cupboard and
it is totally bare? Why, pray of course, and keep praying until the drought breaks. And break it did in a very short time. Food came in the door in carton loads, but not only enough for that week, it comes every week indefinitely from a generous food bank in Brisbane. (the saying, ‘it’s not what you know, it’s who you know’, is true, well, I know God and He so very generous).

Every week, without fail, two of God’s loyal servants fill our fridge with so much milk, bread, fruit, and condiments that it is totally overflowing. Then, like clockwork, six reliable servants appear on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to serve the kids. That’s the power of prayer!

These are the sorts of miracles that are happening all round us. Tune in and you will soon see that it is not just a coincidence when things work out for you, it is God’s providence.
